Would Kempinski ever ask me for money during my application?

Please note that Kempinski would never ask you for money or any type of advance payment during your job application or to secure a job. We advise you to apply only via our secured official website kempinski.jobs and beware of scammers trying to impersonate our hotels with false advertisements.

Do I have to have hospitality experience to work for Kempinski?

While experience in hospitality is helpful and may be required for certain roles, different positions require different skills and competencies, many of which are transferable across various industries. To ensure you meet the requirements of the position, please be sure to read the desired skills and qualifications listed in the job description carefully.

Does Kempinski offer apprenticeships or internships?

Yes, our hotels offer apprenticeship or internship opportunities across various functions of hotel operations. Many of our apprenticeship and internship opportunities are posted online, but if you are interested in a particular hotel and do not see a position posted, we encourage you to inquire with the hotel directly.

Does Kempinski offer Management Training?

Yes, many of our hotels offer Management Training opportunities customised to your unique needs, across specific or multiple functions of hotel operations. Can I apply for more than one position at the same time?

Yes, you may apply for more than one position at a time. However, we encourage you to only apply to those positions that are a strong fit with your qualifications.

What is the best way to submit my application?

We prefer to receive applications online through our career website. By submitting your CV and creating a profile in our online system, your information will be available for you to update at any time. However, if you would like to work at a specific hotel, but do not see a position posted, we encourage you to contact the hotel directly.

What should I include in my application?

Your application and CV should summarize your education, work experience, and relevant accomplishments. Any other information you would like to share is welcome!

How can I follow up on the status or progress of my application?

Please note that while we would like to contact all candidates individually, we receive a large number of applications and only successful candidates will be contacted for next steps in the selection process. If you have submitted your application online, you may view your application status in the My Profile section. If you have had a formal interview, contact the hotel recruiter or campus recruiter or Human Resources Department for more information.

How will I know if I have been successful in my application?

If we wish to pursue your application, we will contact you by telephone or email. However, we receive a large number of applications and only successful candidates will be contacted for next steps in the selection process.

Do you offer relocation assistance?

Some positions are eligible for relocation assistance. If you have been contacted for an interview and require relocation assistance, please discuss this with your recruiter.

How will I know the work permit or visa requirements for positions with Kempinski?

For most positions and locations with specific work permit and visa requirements, information will be included in the job posting. However, if you have been contacted for an interview and have further questions relating to work permit or visa requirements, you may contact the hotel recruiter or Human Resources Department for more information.

Will Kempinski sponsor my work permit or visa?

While support in acquiring a visa or work permit may be possible for certain positions or regions, we encourage you to apply to positions in countries where you are legally eligible to work.

Will I have opportunities for training and development after I am hired?

Does Kempinski provide employee housing?

Employee housing may be offered in locations where local housing is not easily or readily available. If you have been contacted for an interview and wish to inquire about employee housing, please let your recruiter know.

How can I delete my candidate account?

Log into your candidate profile from a desktop browser, click on your name at the top right, then on “Account”. Next to “My Account” click on “Request my candidate profile be deleted”, and then “Yes”. This action triggers the request for deletion, your profile’s complete deletion will be carried out within one week.
