Tell us a little bit more about yourself and your career background.

I began my journey at The Apurva Kempinski as a trainee in wedding sales in early 2021. It was a tremendous honour that, upon graduation, I had the chance to transition into the role of one of The Ladies in Red, serving as a guest relations member, where I discovered my genuine passion. My journey in hospitality began with my pursuit of a Diploma in Hospitality, focusing on the management side of the industry. Driven by curiosity, I sought to understand how guests are transformed into satisfied customers.


What is your favourite thing about your job?

Getting acquainted with various types of guests and learning how to accommodate them has been a valuable experience. Creating special moments throughout a guest’s stay not only brings pleasure but also satisfies my own sense of fulfilment. It is rewarding to engage with guests, initially addressing an inquiry but ultimately building a connection that leaves them with a sense of satisfaction from the pleasant service provided.


How is Kempinski different from other places where you have worked?

In addition to its breathtaking architecture, Kempinski offers an incredibly dynamic work environment. The challenges of guest management here are unlike any other property, from resolving issues to attending to guests’ personal needs. It is remarkable to witness how each team member takes on various responsibilities to deliver exceptional service.
