“Over the years, she has consistently demonstrated her highly commendable performance and she displays exemplary commitment to driving results and keeping the hotel fully compliant with our corporate identity. She is active in managing our crisis communications standards and active communications with local authorities to ensure the hotel remains compliant with local regulations. Jenny is truly a Kempinski ambassador and is a primary asset to the  Kempinski company.”

I started my career with Kempinski in August 2004 at Shanghai Forty-One Heng Shan Road, managed by Kempinski, as an Administration & Communications Manager. After seven years of career development there, I moved to Kempinski Hotel Xiamen in April 2011 handling the duties of Personal Assistant to General Manager starting from the hotel pre-opening period.  In 2013, I was promoted internally as Director of PR. Then in 2021, I took on a new challenge to be the Director of Marketing & Communications to further develop myself. Currently, I undertake dual duties and responsibilities as both PA to the GM and Director of Marketing & Communications.

What is your most memorable experience with Kempinski?

During the 2012 Corporate Executive China Road Show, I was appointed to be the translator for the whole team from the corporate office and the regional office to give presentations for nine pre-opening and just-opened hotels. When I look back, it was really a memorable moment for me during the 19 years of my Kempinski journey, which not only led me to have a deep insight into Kempinski but also helped me to improve my communication skills, leadership and language.

What do you like about your role and Kempinski?

At the same time, I am able to learn about the most up-to-date marketing changes and trends. My direct leader always gives me 100% trust, and I feel I am in a harmonious working environment. I have 100% self-confidence to face challenges at work. Kempinski is authentic, and Kempinski has a rich and long history.
