Corporate Accountant (AR)

A  great opportunity for a candidate that is a team player, enjoys being in a support role and can work effecitvely in a fast-paced environment. The Corporate Accountant (AR) will be mainly responsible for the Accounts Receivable of the Corporate Office while supporting the Accounts Receivable of Europe wide entities with the objective of acquiring more responsibilities outside of the Accounts Receivable area and grow your financial acumen in the long term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for the billing of services rendered and recharges in a timely and accurately manner by collaborating with different departments and accounts payable.
  • Correctly calculating, reconciling and invoicing management fees, withholding taxes and interest in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that payments are collected on time and the accounts receivables ledger is up to date. This involves regular reviews of the ledger, collecting pro-actively payments, researching and resolving outstanding discrepancies and investigating circumstances for non-payments.
  • Ensuring that the aging report and all related balance sheet accounts are up to date, while researching and resolving discrepancies.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annuall closings, including reconciliations and analysis, with the Finance Manager in a timely and accurate manner.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Hospitality Management or similar
  • Excellent understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Hospitality or service industry background is preferred
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills; German and/or French is highly advantageous, additional languages are a plus

  • Must be in possession of / be eligible for a working permit in Switzerland
