For our international and highly dynamic Finance and Controlling Team, we are looking for a
Cost Controller (m/f/d)
Main tasks:
- Oversee monthly food and beverage inventories with the F&B department
- Fulfil separation of responsibilities for the accounting and finance departments during the inventory process
- Provide monthly Micros sales reports in Excel format
- Update recipes for each menu item for F&B and providing a monthly menu engineering report for all outlets
- Calculate theoretical standard food costs based on sales history and standard recipes and compare with actual results
- Prepare monthly food and beverage cost reports
- Prepare an overall cost comparison with local competitors
- Prepare profit and loss statements for special events and festivals
- Support in defining standardised drink portions and calculating their possible ratio for mixed drinks
- Ensure that all internal transfers are recorded
- Check that invoices are posted to the correct revenue streams
- Control new sales items and/or item sales prices in the POS system
- Carry out administrative work related to his/her job
Desired skills & qualifications:
- Commercial training in the hotel industry
- Minimum 1 year in a similar position
- German and English (advanced)
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work under pressure, well and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
