Groups & Events Manager (m/w/d)

Do you like planning events, incentives, meetings or family celebrations? Are you organised, creative and have a hands-on mentality? In this position you will lead a small team and report directly to the General Manager. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • leading the Groups & Events department
  • handling of event requests and creating offers
  • detailed arrangements with organisers as well as personal support on site
  • internal communication of all event-relevant details in the hotel and planning of function meetings
  • direct collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Revenue to ensure an optimal utilization of capacity and profit maximisation
  • co-responsibility in the preparation of the budget, the forecast and the sales strategy
  • site inspections
  • managing group requests
  • take over of MOD duties

Desired Skills & Qualifications: 

  • successfully completed apprenticeship or studies in the hospitality
  • work experience in an equal position in the international luxury hotel business
  • experience and knowledge with the hotel software Opera PMS as well as Sales & Catering 
  • very good communication skills and knowledge of human nature
  • experience in leading and motivating teams
  • perfect knowledge of the German and Englisch language
