  • Prepares the annual public relations plan for the hotel and develop public relations program based on its marketing goals.

  • Prepares and Controls Marketing & Communications Dept.’s budget,

  • prognoses/plans PR needs for next year.

  • Reports all Marketing & Communications activities on a Monthly Basis,

  • updates on all PR-related matters.

  • Enhance promotions results by developing and organize promotional activities, coordinate with departments concerned , prepare promotional information for Sales’ distribution, inviting VIPs and media to attend promotional activities, supervise and direct photographers commissioned to take picture of VIPs, shows, distributing promotional press releases.

  • Ensure complete awareness by all  Sales & Marketing staff of competitors’ activities at all time.

  • Coordinate Advertising Needs of Hotel .

  • Enhances media relations for maximum publicity by visiting media, entertain media representative, celebrating/acknowledging media’s special occasion, providing support in terms of  prizes, etc.

  • Summarizes all hotel activities, i.e., media visit press release, community work.

  • Prepare promotional press releases on personalities among guests and employees of the hotel and noteworthy events in the hotel.

  • Pisseminate hotel press releases to appropriate media, regional and international trade, group and consumer media .

  • Act as hotel liaison with media to promote good publicity and counteract bad publicity.

  • Undertake additional duties as requested by the Department Manager and Hotel Management time by time.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

  • College Degree in Hospitality or related field

  • Several years of hotel communications or hospitality management working experience; Strong oral English communication and written skills.

  • Professional negotiation and crisis management skills; understanding market trends .

  • Good social skills, confident and ability to communicate effectively

  • Knowledge of Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word and Excel
