Public Relations Manager

The Public Relations Manager promotes and enhances awareness of the hotel as the local market leader and Kempinski as one of the world’s finest hotel groups.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop internal communications strategies to foster loyalty within Public Relations network and within the hotel.
  • Initiate and arrange selected individual journalists and group press trips.
  • With guidance from the Director of Public Relations, take responsibility for story development and pitching for specific Public Relations projects.
  • Contribute to public relations strategy.
  • Research, draft and coordinate the distribution of selected press releases, as well as translate press releases to English. 
  • Ensure all press releases are up-to-date, accurate and accessible by media.
  • Answer surveys and inquiries from media.
  • Assist public relations support of Corporate Social Responsibility Committee initiatives.
  • Coordinate between hotel and regional/corporate Public Relations offices and agencies whenever necessary.
  • Plan and develop internal staff newsletter where appropriate.
  • Contribute to my.kempinski.com to share best Public Relations practices, the best practices can be events e.g. photo competition, new restaurant launch, renovation, successful press trip, this provides a channel for inter-hotel learning and also creates motivation.
