Trainee Global Sales

The 12 months traineeship will handle a range of administration and sales focused tasks that support the commercial operation of the GSO teams in but not limited to the GSO London and GSO Frankfurt. This opportunity is ideal for a a self-motivated, well organized and detailed individual, the role of Trainee Global Sales will ultimately be a support asset to all Global Sales personnel across our multi-segment organization as notified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support of generic requests addressed to the GSO all segments

  • Preparing presentations for sales webinars/presentations

  • Systems coverage during absence of Global Directors’ of Sales

  • Support on Groups desk with enquiry handling until conversion to definite booking

  • Follow up on proposals sent to clients in order to maximise conversion

  • Ensure Salesforce is updated with all opportunities and general sales information as required

  • Assist in collation of the send of month production reports

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the database and ensure client information is up to date in Salesforce

  • General administrative support for MICE segment including monthly team meetings and follow up action plans

  • Assistance with MICE Preferred Partnerships collation of quarterly figures and property champion review calls

  • Provide support in organizing sales trips with appointment making and logistics administration

  • Support and where required attendance at key industry trade events

  • Support as and where needed with event coordination in key markets with Director of Global Sales

  • Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by the Global Director of Sales from other segments
