Tell us a little bit more about you and your career background.

I began my career in the hospitality sector as an IT administrator, where I gained valuable experience in managing IT systems and supporting technology needs. My dedication and commitment led me to my next role at Kempinski Mall of the Emirates in Dubai as an IT Administrator, where I progressed to the position of assistant IT Manager.

A defining moment in my career was participating in the pre-opening of Kempinski Grand & Ixir in Bahrain, where I served as an IT Manager. This experience significantly contributed to my professional development and prepared me for the role of IT Manager at Kempinski Residences & Suits in Doha, Qatar.

Currently, I hold the position of IT Manager at Kempinski Al Othman in Al Khobar, overseeing all aspects of IT management. I am proud of my ability to introduce innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and enhance guest experiences.

After spending over 17 years with Kempinski, all my memorable moments and journeys have been with this company.

 

What is your favourite thing about your job?

The most rewarding aspect of my job is the chance to continuously learn and develop. Facing new challenges regularly contributes to my professional and personal growth. I appreciate the collaborative atmosphere at my workplace, which allows me to assist my coworkers and our esteemed guests. Witnessing the direct impact of my work is truly fulfilling. The remarkable autonomy and trust granted by my superiors are greatly appreciated.

 

How is Kempinski different from other places where you have worked?

The Kempinski Hotel has been an extraordinary workplace, standing out from my previous roles. Its dedication to luxury, global presence, innovation, cultural diversity and distinctive experiences like hotel launches have truly distinguished it in my career. These distinctions have not only enhanced my professional growth but also greatly enriched my skills and flexibility in the constantly changing hospitality sector.

 

What advice would you give to someone considering joining or someone who has just joined Kempinski?

I recall a meeting where our CEO, Mr. Bernold O. Schroeder, highlighted that within our company, even a waiter can advance to the role of General Manager through their journey of experience and career growth.

The Kempinski Al Othman Hotel is located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, offering proximity to the business district and popular shopping malls.
